§ 22-110. Adoption.

(a)

The ICC International Plumbing Code/2012 with referenced standards and Appendices B, C, D, and F, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., and the state plumbing code, current edition, issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health, together with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed in this article, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this article, the same as if fully set forth herein, as the standards, rules and regulations for the design, construction, alteration, repair, use and maintenance of buildings and structural appurtenances in the city.

(b)

Where a condition imposed by any provision of one code is more restrictive than a comparable condition imposed by the other code, the provision that is most restrictive or imposes the higher standard or requirement shall apply.
