The International Energy Conservation Code/2012, as mandated by the State of Illinois's
Energy Efficient Building Act (20 ILCS 3125), and any amendments thereto, or subsequent
edition thereof, together with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes prescribed
in this article, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this article as
if fully set forth herein as the standards, rules, and regulations for the design,
construction, repair, use, and maintenance of buildings and structural appurtenances
in the city.
