§ 42-1. State law misdemeanors adopted by reference.

To the extent permitted by law, there are hereby adopted by reference, as if set out at length in this chapter, those provisions of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, including, but not limited to, the Illinois Criminal Code, 720 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., constituting misdemeanors, and violation of any such provision shall constitute a violation of this Code and shall subject the violator thereof to punishment as provided in section 1-8.
