§ 42-134. Appointed attorney's powers and duties.

  • Any attorney appointed to investigate and prosecute violations of this article shall have the following powers and duties:

    (1)

    Interview witnesses.

    (2)

    Perform all reasonable and necessary investigations.

    (3)

    Receive information from the public pertaining to the investigation.

    (4)

    Require the production of additional information and documents from persons who may have violated the provisions of this article.

    (5)

    File complaints with the courts, negotiate settlement agreements, and prosecute complaints to verdict.
