§ 58-22. Obstructions generally.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, create or maintain any obstruction of any street, alley, sidewalk, parkway or public way which is, or may result in, a detriment to the safety of people or property. Obstructive objects include, but are not limited to, rocks, railroad ties and the like; however, such objects may be located within the parkway when used for purposes of decorative landscaping provided the objects are not located within five feet of the paved street surface.
