§ 6-5. Signs.

  • (a)

    Generally. No sign, emblem, logo, or display which promotes the sale of a specific brand of alcoholic liquor or generally promotes the sale of alcoholic liquor or the presence of a bar or lounge shall be permitted to be visible from outside the premises. This provision shall not prohibit the licensee from using its corporate name or its registered trademark on signs designating the property. In connection with an outdoor special event liquor license, signage shall be allowed which would state the availability of beer and wine in addition to the schedule of activities that will occur within the licensed premises.

    (b)

    Inns. Signs on the premises of property holding a class K license shall not exceed ten square feet in area and shall not have internal illumination.
