§ 6-90. Renewal; effect of failure to renew.

  • Any licensee under this chapter may renew his license at the expiration thereof, provided he is then entitled to receive a license and the premises for which such renewal license is sought are suitable for such purpose. Application for renewal shall be made on forms as provided in sections 6-82 and 6-83. Any licensee who has been found guilty by the local liquor commissioner of a liquor violation in the previous year must attend a liquor license renewal meeting before the local liquor commission prior to a license renewal. Any license issued pursuant to this chapter shall terminate by operation of law if not renewed within ten days after the date of its expiration. Thereafter, the licensee may apply for reissuance, consideration of which application shall be made pursuant to the procedures established by this chapter.
