§ 42-139. Constitutionality.

  • If the Illinois Supreme Court declares any part of Public Act 93-617 adopted by this article unconstitutional but upholds the constitutionality of other portions of the Act adopted by this article, then the constitutional portion of this article shall remain in full force and effect and that part of the article adopting the unconstitutional portions of Public Act 93-617 shall be deemed repealed without further action by the corporate authorities of the city.
